Annalena Zottmann is a driving force behind innovative smart metering and city solutions and services at Diehl Metering. She has several years’ experience in ideation, exploration and realization of new solutions across various markets. Annalena’s focus is on designing future-proof und user-centric IoT solutions based on the needs of smart utilities and cities.

Rafal began his professional career as an automation engineer and SCADA specialist in the Power & Utilities sector. He currently serves as a Consultant at EY within the OT/IoT Cybersecurity Hub Team, leading implementation projects, advisory services, and testing of OT/IoT products and cybersecurity solutions. A significant portion of his career has been dedicated to work and projects in the Cybersecurity Laboratory of Industry 4.0, OT and IoT. He holds and continues to acquire knowledge and professional certifications, including those in Project Management, Cybersecurity, and Cloud technologies. In his personal life, he is an avid sailing enthusiast and has a keen interest in psychology.

Luca leads the Partnership relationships at Valerann, from building new collaborations with technology and data providers, to articulating value with entities that can ultimately enhance the value of Valerann's products. With his MSc Engineering at Cranfield University and his international career gained in the automotive and the digital sectors, he is continuously applying his know-how seeking value from new solutions to today's mobility and societal challenges. Luca has extensive experience working with public entities (Digital Catapult), with large industrial players (Bentley Motors within the VW Group, EMR, Ferretti Group etc.) and within the startups world, mainly supporting the adoption of advanced digital solutions (IoT Tribe, Zubi Labs, etc.). His notable achievements include over six years with Sigfox, where he successfully built the business in the Nordics and Baltics. In 2023, he became General Manager for the mioty Alliance.

Charles has over 35 years experience in operational engineering and IoT GTM Strategy. Initially trained in Radar and Aircraft communications he then moved into the startup IoT and Analytics world in 2000. Over the last two decades Charles has developed and executed IoT business strategy which includes the development of IoT product and services into multiple vertical market places. Past success stories include connected cars, smart factories and intelligent pubs! Charles joined WIKA in 2024 in a Business Advisory role to help develop WIKA's Go-To-Market strategy.

Stefania Gilli is the Director of Vodafone IoT Italy – a company belonging to Vodafone Group. She graduated in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and began her career in the ICT market at HP, holding various roles in marketing and sales, becoming the head of the Server Business Unit for Italy. From 2009, she served as the Commercial Director for the Telco & Media Market in Italy until 2011, when she left HP for Oracle, where she held the position of Commercial Director for Northern Italy for Infrastructure and Cloud. She joined Vodafone in 2017 as the IoT Country Manager, where she significantly contributed to the growth of Vodafone Business’s Internet of Things solutions. With the spin-off of Vodafone IoT, Stefania was appointed Director in 2024 for the Italian legal entity specializing in providing IoT Mobile connectivity based on Vodafone’s Global Platform.

Pietro Manzoni is a computer engineering professor at the "Universitat Politècnica de València," Spain. He received a master's degree in Computer Science from the "Università degli Studi" of Milan, Italy, in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the "Politecnico di Milano," Italy, in 1995. From November 1992 to February 1993, he was an intern at Bellcore Labs, Red Bank, New Jersey, USA. From February 1994 to November 1994, he was a visiting researcher at the ICSI (International Computer Science Institute) Berkeley, California, USA. His research has always been focused on using Mobile Wireless Networks to create dynamic systems. Currently, he is developing solutions for the Internet of Things using LPWAN networks and Pub/Sub systems. These solutions have various applications, including environmental intelligence by integrating TinyML-based solutions, sustainable and green IoT, and Smart Tourism. Additionally, he is interested in exploring ways to provide integrated connectivity in the edge-cloud continuum. He is the coordinator of the Computer Networks Research Group (GRC) (http://grc.webs.upv.es), a senior member of the IEEE, and a member of the ACM SIGCAS - Computers and Society (https://www.sigcas.org/).

Yuemin Ding received his Ph.D. in Electronic Systems Engineering from Hanyang University, Ansan, South Korea, in 2014. He previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a Visiting Fellow at Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, as well as an Associate Professor at Tianjin University of Technology, China. He has been selected for the Ramón y Cajal Fellowship, the Ikerbasque Fellowship, and the Gipuzkoa Fellowship. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics and the IEEE Open Journal of the Industrial Electronics Society. He is recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists in Networking and Telecommunications. His research interests include the Internet of Things, B5G/6G, smart grid communication, and their real-world applications.

Tom Rebbeck is a Partner and senior member of Analysys Mason’s research team. He is responsible for our forecasting, business and consumer services teams. He works extensively on business and consumer telecoms sectors. Liliane Paradise graduated from ETH Zürich in 2019 with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Micro- and Nanosystems. She has extensive experience in hardware and firmware development. For the past two years, she has been the Hardware Team Lead at Miromico. Since last November, she has taken on the role of Head of Operations & Innovation at Miromico, overseeing operations, managing product development, and driving innovation. Liliane is known for her technical expertise and leadership within the company.
